Muscle car fever was at an all time high when Chrysler introduced a new special model. The AAR 'Cuda (All American Racers) was the limited production ,street version of the Barracuda driven by Dan Gurney in the 1970 SCCA Trans Am racing series. Trans Am rules required that new models must have a street version to be homologated for competition.
