The Audi TT Roadster, developed in parallel with the TT Coupé, was first presented to the world public in March 1999. Its uncompromising design, its powerful presence and its internal qualities make it pure joy to drive. The 180 hp four cylinder engine accelerates from 0 to 100 in a breathtaking 7.7 seconds and to a maximum speed of 223 km/h. The roll bars may function primarily as a striking design feature, but, together with the stable windscreen frame, they provide a safe survival space for the passengers.
