On June 6, 1944, Allied troops took part in the most ambitious military invasion ever devised. Put in place by Gen. Dwight Eisenhower, Operation Overlord was a massive Allied invasion of Western Europe that required the use of 12,000 planes, 7,000 boats and 160,000 troops. It was a gamble that paid off, changing the tide for the Allies in the last days of WWII. Kit features 54 unpainted, unassembled soldier figures, featuring 16 action poses and assorted combat accessories (including a mortar and bipod).
