Description
Britain's toughest battle tank.

The Challenger I was Great Britain's main battle tank throughout the '80s and early '90s. It was among the first tanks with ceramic composite armor plating, which lasts longer and protects better than steel. The Challenger also offered a top speed of 37 mph (56 km/h) and enough space for four crewmen. It was replaced by the Challenger II in 1998, which is widely regarded as the world's most reliable tank. Kit features true-to-the-original surface details, a movable cannon, a rotating turret, detailed road wheels and decals for two versions.
