France's flagship 17th-century galley.

The flagship of France's galley fleet during the 17th century, the La Réale entered service in 1694. Ornately painted and decorated with magnificent gilded carvings, she was the pride of the French Navy. The La Réale was also much larger than other galleys of the time. It took over 300 people to row her 53 large oars! Of course, this considerable manpower allowed the La Réale to reach speeds up to six knots. This easy-to-build kit features textured sails, built-in armaments, 53 oars and authentic flags.
