In late 1943, the first SB2C Helldivers sailed for the Pacific aboard the U.S.S. Bunker Hill. Soon, they were participating in every major naval action in the Pacific. After WWII's end, they continued to serve the U.S. Navy until 1949. Kit features a cockpit with pilot figure, an exposed weapons bay with bombs, a detailed rear gun area, photo-etched perforated dive brakes and decals for two versions: 1. SB2C-4, VB-84, U.S.S. Bunker Hill, Tokyo Raids, February 16-23, 1945 and 2. SB2C-4, Marine Squadron VMSB-224, Bombing Banshees, Mindanao, June 2, 1945.
