Designed By Lockheed's Shadowy Advanced Development Project Office, the f-117 Nighthawk fighter is one of the most sophisticated warplanes ever built. Developed and operated under the total secrecy since the late 1970's, it was a decade later that the plane's shape was revealed. The f-117 was designed without any right angles and a radar absorbent skin makes it virtually invisible to enemy radar.
